In order to keep your board healthy and increase the useful life of any wooden cutting board you must follow these three steps.

  1. Never submerge your board in water or place it in a dish-washing machine
  2. Oil it regularly with mineral oil, butcher block oil or organic flax seed oil. The general rule of thumb is about once a month if possible.
  3. Clean immediately after use with hot water and a small amount of soap, then wipe dry and lean against a wall or other object to air dry
